Hello! I’m Sarah.

I’m a BC-based food & product photographer passionate about local and small businesses.

I love working with local businesses and it lights me up every day to get to know my clients, their business, their story and the impact they wish to have in our community.

With that, I create beautiful work designed to bring my clients’ visions to life with imagery that leaves a lasting impact.

I was also voted one of the Top 9 Food Photographers in Vancouver, BC!

My Story

For as long as I can remember I have been creating something and my need for creative expression has always run deep. My days have been filled with DIY projects, painting, crafts, cooking and even dancing.

My creative life took a backseat through university where I earned an honours degree in sciences and went on to become a Registered Dietitian. I’ve been an RD for over 15 years, and during that time I met my main man, traveled the world, had two little people, and met some incredible humans along the way.

During my time as a nutritionist, I found a way to channel my creative side through blogging. My first blog was nutrition-focused, giving tips on food and the benefits of health and wellness. The second, aptly named Mish Mash of Loves, became a space where I shared a mish-mash of any type of recipe or DIY project that inspired me. And this, my friends, is when I fell in love with still-life photography

Creating beautiful, mood-evoking imagery lights me up every day! You know you’re doing something right when your days are filled with air pumps and heck ya’s.

I call North Vancouver, BC, my home and although my roots are a mix of British proper and Alberta soul, I have always felt like a West Coast girl. My husband and I have two amazing little boys who inspire me from moment to moment. They drive me to live life to the fullest and have fun doing it. And, as my littlest guy says to me every single day, “Mom, this is the best day ever!” And I couldn’t agree more.

Much love,

Sarah
